Kalonzo flees from chaotic youths at Makueni rally – VIDEO

Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka was on Friday forced to make a premature exit from a rally in Makueni rally after unruly youths stormed the event.

The youths carried banners supporting the Maendeleo Chap Chap campaign being spearheaded by Machakos governor Alfred Mutua.

Mr Musyoka was the guest speaker at the rally in Kasikeu, Makueni county.

The youths openly attacked those had attended the rally with whips and catapults.

They dismantled tents and carted away plastic seats.

 

Leaders, including Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior fled from the venue.

When given audience by Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana, the youth said they are opposed to Mr Musyoka and Machakos Senator Johnston Muthama.

Mr Musyoka left the venue and proceeded to a meeting at Emali town.
