Just how much did Kalonzo contribute to Fidel’s funeral?

Social media users on Monday made Cord Principal Kalonzo Musyoka to reveal his contribution to Fidel Odinga’s burial.

The Wiper party leader bowed to pressure after a list of contributions by different leaders went viral and he was trolled for making the least contribution.

In the list, the former Vice President was said to have contributed Sh25, 000, an amount he disputed in his tweet stating the contribution he made.

“The list you have read is fake @charles_mburu @SwakaTheBrand @Braso_Smallz @sexyayokya @Mtendawema @DaveMuoki. My contribution was 200,000Khs,” he tweeted.

MIXED REACTIONS

The clarification triggered mixed reactions with tweeps stating that it was not a better amount to contribute while others lauded his contribution.

Sam Kamau ‏@OneSamKamau tweeted, “Reply to @skmusyoka I know you will say my name betrays me, but is this really necessary? That should be a personal matter.”

Saito ‏@Itotias tweeted, “Bado ni kidogo RT “@skmusyoka: The list you have read is fake. My contribution was 200,000Khs.”

Benard Kariuki ‏@Wainainakariuki tweeted, “@skmusyoka No pressure Mheshimiwa. Not even your left hand should know what your right hand gave.”

NOT AUTHENTIC

Several leaders are said to have contributed to the burial of Raila Odinga’s son Fidel and although the said list on social media is not authentic, Raila thanked the President Uhuru Kenyatta for providing choppers and security officers.

The late Fidel Odinga was buried on Saturday at his father’s Bondo home, a week after he was found dead in his Karen house.
