Karwirwa Laura reveals how she secured a spot at Oxford University
Former Citizen TV host, Karwirwa Laura, has shared the secret behind how she was able to land a spot at Oxford University, United Kingdom.
Laura quit her Citizen TV job as she needed to relocate to the UK to pursue her master’s at Oxford’s Brookes University.
In a recent question-and-answer session on her Instagram, the gospel singer was compelled to answer a question by one curious fan about how she was able to get into the prestigious university.

The ‘Ujulikane’ hitmaker noted that she landed the Oxford opportunity out of her due diligence.
“About your postgraduate course, how did you secure a chance at Oxford? And are you self-sponsored?” asked a fan.
“I did a lot of hard due diligence, from scratch. Yes.” Laura stated.
The TV girl also addressed another question by another fan about whether she misses her old job, to which she responded by saying she does but is happily embracing the new season in her life.

“Do you miss your previous job/ workmates?” the question read.
“Yeah…but, it’s a new season,” Laura noted.
Karwirwa in another query revealed that she has landed another job in the UK, however, she is yet to start.
A fan asked, “Have you gotten a job already?” A question to which she gladly responded saying, “Yes, I haven’t started yet though. A server job at an Italian Restaurant.”

The former Citizen TV host announced her exit from the station late last month after a three-year stint.
The media personality shared a message of gratitude to her family and friends for their support throughout her stint at the station, and more so for organizing a surprise exit party for her.
Laura, during the celebration, disclosed she is headed to pursue a Master’s in Public health at Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom.
