Ex-Harambee Stars keeper Origi bids farewell to Norwegian club Lillestrom
Having failed to secure a dream move to England in the January transfer window, former Harambee Stars keeper Arnold Origi has confirmed that he is quitting Norwegian club Lillestrom after a five-year stint.
In a lengthy post on Facebook, the custodian also hinted that he could make a return to Norway.
“My story and adventure at Lillestrom has come to and end,” said Origi.
“I have had the best moments of my career as a football player at this amazing and historic club. I also have developed tremendously as a goalkeeper with the amazing goalkeeper coaches that I have had the privilege of working with at the club.

“Our ways part for now but a part of me will always be a ‘Kanari’. All the very best in the future apart from the games that I will play against you. If I get to play against you.”
Origi, who previously played for Mathare United and Tusker in the Kenyan Premier League, attended trials at Crystal Palace with view to joining the English Premier League club.
The move however didn’t materialise.
The 34-year-old has been based in Norway for the past decade, while also turning out for FK Moss, Fredrikstad and Ull Kisa during that period.
