Nairobi News understands Ng’ondi, who previously served as the county Deputy Speaker, has secured the backing of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Kanu chairman Gideon Moi.
The duo is the latest to endorse him. Others are lawmakers George Aladwa, Beatrice Elachi who’s Nairobi former Speaker, Babu Owino, Amos Wagoand, Mark Muriithi Mwenje, Felix Odiwuor, Anthony Oluoch, and Tim Wanyonyi.
Musyoka and Moi have also called on Azimio Members of the County Assembly (MCA) not to waver in their support for Ng’ondi and remain steadfast and united in backing him based on experience.
They asked the MCAs not to be compromised by their colleagues from the Kenya Kwanza camp.
