The Kenya Bus Ltd has warned its customers of a new trick being employed by criminals to drug and rob passengers travelling in buses.

According to the thread, the criminals cleverly place syringes containing sedatives on seats. Unsuspecting passengers are then pricked by the needle and drugged during the bus ride.
Victims are reported to go unconscious in a matter of seconds.
The criminals then claim to be the victim’s relative and ‘assist’ them to alight the bus without raising eyebrows.
Incidents of passengers being drugged and robbed have become too common especially in passenger vehicles plying to the central business district.
