Kenyan cross-dresser Kelvin Kinuthia undergoes weight loss procedure
Instagram influencer and renowned cross-dresser Kelvin Kinuthia revealed he had undergone a medical weight loss procedure.
Nine days ago, he had his doctor’s consultation where it was found that he needed to get rid of 73.1% of the body fat he had via the gastric balloon procedure.
“I’m so excited for this journey because losing weight is not easy. I’m one person who, if you tell me to go to the gym, ill just look at you and ask you ‘Me? I go to the gym?’
I’ll go and come back in the evening and eat properly, even four times more because I feel that my energy is gone and I need to recharge. That is why I’m adding the gastric balloon because me and eating – I eat very well!” said Kinuthia.

On November 2, 2022, Kelvin Kinuthia swallowed the silicone pill-shaped balloon that was later inflated with saline water via a small attached tube.
The balloon is intended to reduce the amount of stomach space, reduce the amount of food one eats and make one feel fuller much faster.
This is what the gastric balloon does for a patient to stimulate faster weight loss by reducing the amount of food one ate. He documented the entire process and shared it with his social media followers.
