Harambee Stars goalkeeper, Arnold Origi, has been given an all clear to resume training with his Norwegian club after serving a week long suspension.

The Lillestrom keeper had been banished from training by the first division outfit and even later forced to sit out of a league assignment against Odd FC last weekend following a training ground brawl.

According to reports from sections of the Norwegian media, Origi had to be separated from Lebanese Bassel Jradi after the two came to blows during a training session. This is the second time the two are getting physical.

Eye witness described the scuffle between the two players as “ugly”, with further reports elaborating that the Kenyan player raced “between 20-25 metres before unleashing a flying kick on Lebanese international Bassel.”

APOLOGISED

Origi has since apologized as quoted by nrk.no stating; “I’ll take responsibility for that we fought in training. I called him because I wanted us to perform. I shouted – pull yourselves together. He said things back and attacked me. We had to be separated.”

Bassel meanwhile explained that: “He shouted at me and I to him, and then he came flying. We had to be separated. He would beat me, and I would beat him. It has happened before between us, but not so violently. This is the last time we are fighting.”

The two players are thus expected to be considered for Lillestrom’s next league match against Tromso.
