Kenyans and Nigerians ‘brawl’ on cyberspace
An online war of words has ensued on Twitter between Kenyans and Nigerians as each group tries to ridicule the other.
The hashtag #KenyansVsNigerians was number one trending on Saturday morning as netizens took out their gloves to maliciously criticize each other’s countries.
This comes a day after a Nigerian journalist was forced to apologise and pull down a post in which she had erroneously claimed that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was sampling Nigerian cuisine.
The post by Femi Oke, who works for Al Jazeera, was met with criticism from Kenyans on Twitter.
KOT went ahead to boast that the Facebook founder professed his love for Kenyan food (Ugali and fish), something that he did not do while in a visit to Nigeria.
