Kenyans tell biblical jokes while whining about ‘Netanyahu traffic’
Nairobi residents stuck in traffic that was occasioned by closure of major roads to allow easy movement of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu turned to the bible for comic relief.
Twitter users posted variations of jokes on the journey of Israelites leaving Egypt for Canaan, as outlined in the good book.
The worst hit road users were those on Thika Road, Mombasa Road, Kenyatta Avenue, Waiyaki Way and its feeder roads.
Below we sample some of the hilarious tweets that eased the pain of commuters who were stuck for hours on end.
