Kidero, Sifuna reject IEBC results as a ‘sham’
Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has rejected provisional results released by the electoral commission that project his defeat to rival Mike Sonko.
Dr Kidero on Wednesday demanded for a recount of votes cast.
“I reject the results as they are until a new physical recount is done with the forms clearly signed. What happened is glaring and cannot be entertained. They are sham and does not reflect will of the people,” Dr Kidero told journalists.
ODM’s senatorial candidate Edwin Sifuna alo rejected the provisional results, arguing that “there’s obvious evidence of subversion of the will of people.”
