Here is Kidero’s order to county askaris on ghost voters – VIDEO

Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero engaged the congregation at Voice of Salvation Church in a comical talk on ghost voters during Sunday’s service.

Governor Kidero joked that he will order county askaris to guard cemeteries to ensure no ghosts escape to vote during the general elections.

He added that City Hall will erect strong gates from August 5 to 10th to make sure no ghost will be allowed to vote

“The elections will come and go but Kenyans must remain one. This time around we will not have ghost voters. I have been in meetings with my county askaris and we have two cemeteries. One for Muslims at Gikomba and the other is in Lang’ata,” he said.

“We have finished the fencing of Lang’ata and the cemetery at Gikomba and they will be reinforced with very strong gates to make sure no ghost will be allowed to leave.”
