King Kaka’s new album ‘Eastlando Royality’ coming out soon

Flamboyant Kenyan rapper King Kaka is set to release his second studio album Eastlando Royality end of this month with Dundaing being the hit single from the album.

The 18-track album will feature singles and hit collabos with artists such as H_Art the Band and three international collabos with Talib Kweli, Tracy Morgan and Jamaican Romain Virgo.

It will also include a 22-track digital album for those who enjoy his mix tapes.

‘DUNDAING’

The artiste said despite the hit Dundaing featuring Kristoff being banned by the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) for violation of community guidelines, he will still perform it at his album launch.

The evolution of King Kaka from Rabbit of the breakout song Jam na kam is evident in his new album.

From his club bangers tracks to his depth tracks, what his fans should expect in his new album as both characters are present in the new songs as there will be throwback moments from his earlier tracks to his most recent ones.

Rico Beatz, Jack on the Beat and Musyoka are among the producers behind the album.

SOCIAL MEDIA HYPE

Kaka also offered his views on the huge wave of young upcoming artistes making tracks from what is hyped up out there on social media.

“If Ethic Group walicome nasong inaitwa Lamba Lolo na wakapata 1million views then sii pia sisi tufanye zingine kama hizo kumi” King Kaka said.

“Years back there was a threshold on music videos out there but now there is freedom and I can shoot, upload on YouTube and media has no control over it,” he added.

BLAZING HOT

He however pointed out that songs such as Bora Uhai by Nelly the Goon, Fuckboy by Rico Gang X Marcel, Sponyo by Gwaash, may not have much shelf life but they work and hit makers will end up famous.

“Producers and artistes need to stop complaining about music content, yet they don’t build themselves or pass on their talent to the new generation,” he said.

All this aside, King Kaka’s fans can look forward to the launch of what promises to be a blazing hot album.
