King Kaka thrills fans with royal performance at ‘Eastlando Royalty’ launch – PHOTOS

Hundreds of Jeshi ya Kaka, as fans of rapper King Kaka prefer calling themselves, filled up Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi on Friday evening to witness the launch of the rapper’s second album titled Eastlando Royalty.

Various deejays including DJ JR 254, Willthedeejay and DJ Leqs among others kept the crowd on their feet as the evening progressed.

The ‘king’ took to the stage at 1am and delivered a two-hour performance with three sets in between the show.

Each set had its own video package to introduce the music.

The second set brought out King Kaka’s alter ego, Rabbit, as he delivered more in depth tracks with some poetic background.

Artistes such as Paskal Tokodi, Steph Kapela, Brian Nadra and Bridget Blue, who are featured in the album, performed on stage alongside the ‘king’.

The surprise act was Man Njoro, who featured in the track Uko Sure. He jumped on stage and performed the hit song from some year’s back.

Also to joining King Kaka on stage was Wangechi and Femi One, who were featured in the remix to the hit single Ligi Soo.

Naturally, King Kaka was the show stopper as he stepped on the stage to perform his controversial club anthem Dundaing featuring Kristoff and Magicx Enga.

The crowd simply couldn’t have enough of the hit which they sang along to word for word.
