Unforgiving KOT bash Duale for misspelling this word
Kenyans on Twitter have schooled Garissa Township MP Aden Duale on the correct spelling of a ‘simple’ English word which he misspelled in a tweet directed at Nairobi Women Representative, Esther Passaris.
The word which has seen Mr Duale benefiting from free English lessons from KOT is ‘descent’ or rather ‘decent’.
It all started with a tweet from Passaris who had taken issue with Duale for telling off Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga over demands for the removal of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Can someone please tell me how old is this man? What’s his level of education? What’s his upbringing? What does he consume? I don’t get him.

And with that, Ms Passaris got a series of tweets from the honorable MP who tried to offer an explanation.
After you undergo the 12th parliament orientation next week, we can then have a parliamentary leaders discourse; not ready for anything else

.@EstherPassaris, you are a Nairobi women Rep with powers to legislate, represent and oversight, Aden Duale is none of this?
— Hon. Aden Duale (@HonAdenDuale) September 4, 2017
But the tweet which caught KOT’s attention is this one:
…Married to a descent wife with 5 sons. That’s Aden Duale. Am sorry I have no space. @EstherPassaris

Kenyans on Twitter promptly gave Mr Duale a quick crash program on the difference between ‘descent’ and ‘decent.’
You probably wanted to say “decent”. The word descent that you were misusing has the following 2 meanings pic.twitter.com/N1FFgtAAb3

@HonAdenDuale it’s decent and not descent ,choose your battles wisely you can’t go around fighting women and English at the same time .pagas

Teaching villagers English takes a lifetime. You saw that quack lawyer speaking mother tongue for English. Ilikuja na meli

Some also bashed him for picking a fight with the new Nairobi Woman Representative.
What a political loaded pompous rhetoric from a bubble-headed politician to a woman of substance.

Your disdain for women is terrible, because according to you a woman should only sire you kids to earn respect. Wake up this is 21st century
