KOT in awe of top lawyers acting for Babu Owino
Kenyans on Twitter were on Tuesday jazzed by the team of lawyers who appeared to represent Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili, alias Babu Owino, at the Milimani court .
Babu Owino was arraigned in court on Tuesday and charged with two counts of subversion and uttering abusive words against President Uhuru Kenyatta.
His lawyer Senator James Orengo claimed that police had blocked him from giving legal advice to his client who was in police custody Monday night,
On Tuesday, the senior counsel was accompanied in court by lawyer Otiende Amollo.
The two were part of Raila Odinga’s legal team during the petition against the presidential election at the Supreme Court.
Kenyans on Twitter couldn’t hide their awe at the stellar legal team.
