Edith Kimani quits KTN, joins DW-TV
After six years at the Mombasa road-based media house, KTN’s Edith Kimani on Tuesday announced her new work station.
The television anchor and reporter, who started her career at the station after being crowned the first winner of The Presenter reality TV show, will be East Africa’s correspondent for Deutsche Welle.
The exited journalist announced on her Facebook page: “It’s been a great 6 years at KTN. Thank you. Hello DW-TV. East African correspondent twende kazi.”
Ms Kimani was the first winner of the country’s premiere on-screen presenter competition and she was instrumental in mentoring the contestants during the second season.
Coincidentally, she mentored this year’s editorial category winner Michelle Ngele.
