Riswa! Leaders cast out corruption demons at prayer breakfast – VIDEO

Members of the National Assembly and Senate who attended the national prayer breakfast on Thursday cast out the demons bedeviling the country, including corruption.

During the prayer breakfast at Safari Park hotel, the congregation shouted “riswa” as Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka named all the demons that needed to leave the country.

The moment came shortly after the famous “hugshakes” among President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Deputy President William Ruto.

Speaker Lusaka was tasked with giving a vote of thanks to the organisers and the attendees.

“We want to cast the demon of corruption, riswa. We want to cast the demons of tribalism, riswa. We want to cast the demon of lies, riswa. We want to cast the demon of lies, riswa. We want to cast the demon of presence, riswa. We want to cast the demon of looting. May they all be condemned, asanteni sana,” Lusaka said.
