Logarusic non-committal on return to the den

AFC Leopards coach Zdravko Logarusic is non- committal on whether he will return to guide the club in the second round of league matches.

The Croat left Kenya for his native country last week but gave strongest hint that he may not return to the troubled den with a telling post on his face book page.

He wrote (unedited):“ Thank you.. to my Leopards fans..thanks to my players…it wos for me incredible time…THANK YOU. And GOODBAY….your coach ZL”

When contacted on Monday, he remained non- committal, saying he is having a short holiday.

“I am relaxing now, by the end of next week, I will know more,” he said.

Leopards have undergone tough financial times following the withdrawal of Mumias Sugar Company Limited as a shirt sponsors.

With no monies, players have gone for months without pay and this has made many of them to consider their future association with the club.

Long term skipper Martin Imbalambala has since penned a deal with Football Kenya Premier League side Nakumatt, while defender Jackson Saleh, custodian Wycliffe Kasaya and Musa Mudde are also said to be on their way out.

Mudde has attracted interest from Bandari, while Kasaya is being lured by Nakumatt.

Should Logarusic not return, it would add to the growing troubles at the league giants.
