Machakos deputy governor’s ‘missing’ daughter found at boyfriend’s house

Machakos Deputy Governor Bernard Kiala’s daughter Kathleen Nduku has been found alive and well at her boyfriend’s house.

Last week, the deputy governor reported the disappearance of his daughter, claiming that she had been kidnapped and that the kidnappers were demanding that he drops his gubernatorial bid.

Cord co-principal, Kalonzo Musyoka, had also said the girls’ disappearance was linked to the intrigues in the Machakos political scene, and warned area Governor Alfred that he would have to write a statement should anything bad happen to her.

But alas! Nairobi County Commander Japheth Koome has since dispelled the kidnap fears while confirming that the police have after days of intensive search traced Kathleen at her boyfriend’s house in Kasarani, a Nairobi suburb.

Koome confirmed that the girl told the police she was staying with the man on her own volition.

The deputy governor also announced the news of the development on his Facebook page.
