Maina Njenga offers to reconcile Kidero and Shebesh

The conflict between Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero and Women Representative Rachel Shebesh has been hijacked by greedy people who want to benefit financially, former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga said on Sunday.

Consequently, he has sensationally offered himself to bring the two together once and for all.

Both Shebesh and Dr Kidero have relied on court orders to stop their arrests over cases against each other recommended for prosecution by Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko.

“I will offer my time free of charge. They are leaders and the war we are seeing now is political and from instigated by external forces,” said Njenga.

Mr Njenga said he will take up the matter beginning Tuesday if the two leaders will not have reconciled in public.

“On Tuesday, I will reach out to them. They must now stop this circus and work,” said Njenga.

He added, “All we are hearing is no deal has been cut yet. The secrecy of the matter means all is not well. Even if one is compensated, they will still need to sit down and forgive each other without public pressure.”

Mr Njenga, now a preacher, spoke on the sidelines of his Hope International Ministries church in Kitengela.
