Man in court for having sex with camel
A man was on Thursday charged in a Marsabit court of having sex with a camel. Diba Ali, 19, appeared before Marsabit Principal Magistrate Boaz Ombewa and pleaded guilty to the charges and consequently remanded awaiting the hearing of the case.
The prosecution told the court that Ali was caught in the act by the complainant who is also the owner of the camel at Dirib Gombo area on Thursday at around midnight.
The owner of the animal informed the police who arrested Ali and took him to custody. The magistrate ordered the camel to be examined to determine if the act was actually committed on the animal before the hearing of the case.
Already the accused has told the police he did not know what led him to the act claiming that he was of unsound mind. The case will be heard o on September 10.
