Man found dead in house after suspected sex romp


A 36-year-old man was on Thursday found dead in his rented house in Mumbuni location, Machakos County under bizarre circumstances.

Police suspect his death was caused by the popular sex-enhancing drug, Viagra.

According to a police report, the man identified as Timothy Maundu Mbithi was found lying dead on the floor in his rented house having vomited on the floor.

“Some drugs were found in the house including viagra, beta pyne bascopan and two used condoms,” the police report states.

The death occurred at about 1pm and was reported by a Mr Jonnes Nzioki Mbithi at Machakos Police station.

BODY MOVED

Police visited the scene photographed the body and moved it to Montezuma Mortuary pending postmortem.

Area Chief Mathew Mulee said the deceased worked in Nairobi and was set to marry in May next year.

“He was not married. He was to marry his girlfriend who lives in Nairobi in May,” Mr Mulee told Nairobi News.

“We have not established who he was with. He may have committed suicide.”

When Nairobi News called a number given by the Police and which was indicated as belonging to Mr Nzioki Mbithi, a woman answered the call, said she was in Yatta and that she did not know the deceased.

She quickly disconnected the call.
