Manhunt launched for suspect in city pub shooting
Police are looking for a licensed firearm holder who is suspected to have shot and injured a reveler at Donholm estate in Nairobi on Saturday morning.
According to the police, the incident occurred at around 3am Saturday morning at a night club known as The Laudraps.
An argument is said to have ensued between two patrons before the suspected, identified as Rickie Muchai, shot the victim three times.
THE VICTIM
The victim, who has been identified as Derick Mwirigi, sustained injuries on his left shoulder, right side of his chest and on his right ribs.
He was taken to Metropolitan Hospital where he is undergoing treatment. Police visited the scene and collected two spent cartridges and one bullet head.
No arrest has been made as investigations continue.
