EXCLUSIVE: Mariga splashes Sh2.5m on little sister’s birthday bash
Kenyan football star MacDonald Mariga splashed half a million shillings on a birthday bash for his younger sister Cynthia Wanyama on Friday evening, and then capped it off with a Sh 2 million car gift.
The Italian based player who is in the country on holiday was clearly on a spending mood and began with the purchase of food, soft drinks and alcohol for the invited guests who included his parents Noah and Mildred.
The centerpiece of food and drinks on offer was a birthday cake designed in the shape of a netball for Cynthia, who is a Kenya international netball player.
When all the guests had eaten to their fill, the partying continued at various entertainment joints within the city where drinks flowed freely.
The biggest surprise for the birthday girl came when Cynthia was handed the keys to a brand new car.
Mariga, currently a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Parma, is known to spend big on special occasions. He also has a taste for expensive rides and the trendiest fashion.
