Massive pileup on Mbagathi Way
Seven cars were involved in a massive pileup that occurred on Mbagathi Way on Friday afternoon. The accident happened around 1 p.m. along the busy road when a lorry rammed into one of the cars.
Minor injuries have been reported, with the police on the ground assessing the situation.
The accident on Mbagathi Way resulted into a gridlock on the adjacent roads.
In another incident on Friday morning, a 14 sitter PSV matatu lost control and overturned along Lunga Lunga Road near Sinai.
11 casualties were reported with 7 of them who sustained minor injuries being treated on site. Four of the victims with serious injuries were rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital for treatment.
