Mathare youth riot, block Juja Road over poll rigging claims – PHOTOS
Youth in Mathare held demonstrations on Wednesday to protest alleged rigging of the elections.
They briefly blocked Juja Road by erecting a barricade of stones across the road before anti-riot police moved in to ublock the road.
The rowdy youth chanted ‘No Raila, No peace’ and ‘Uhuru Must’ go slogans.
They lit bonfires on roads in the Mathare 4A area.
