Meet Kenyan comedian with worst accent – VIDEO

A Kenyan man living in the US has become a laughing stock after a video exposing his poor command of English went viral.

The man, calling himself the King of Zamunda, made the video to promote an upcoming comedy show slated for May 7 in Dallas, Texas.

But people have dwelt on his mispronunciation of word after word in the 2:18-minute long clip.

At some point he says, “You know we came to chage (change) this game of entertainmet (entertainment) in Amelica (America).”

He also says the show will be held at the ASO Lock instead of ASO Rock. That is not all. He goes on to list the “big shots” who will grace the event.

BIG SHOTS

“I got a ladio (radio) host, I golla (got a) videoglapher (videographer) from this beauliful (beautiful) lad (land) of Amelica (America),” he says.

“Dallas, Texas, May 7th let’s clack (crack) up Amelica (America). Hang out with these comedians before they become plo (pro).”

The clip was first shared by Ben Mureithi on Facebook with the title: “Kenyans living in the Diaspora, please find this guy and send him back home priss (sic)..”

King of Zamunda was a character played by Eddie Murphy in the 1988 comedy film, Coming to America where the crown prince of the fictional African nation of Zamunda, travels to the United States in the hopes of finding a woman he can marry.
