Miguna ‘agrees’ with Uhuru for once, but in the same breath bashes Jubilee government
Self-declared NRM General Miguna Miguna has for once agreed with President Uhuru Kenyatta, while at the same harshly criticizing the Jubilee government.
This after President Uhuru Kenyatta eulogized multi-party democracy champion Kenneth Matiba as a selfless nationalist who sacrificed all his wealth for the sake of the country.
Ken Matiba epitomised what Kenya is supposed to be. He was committed to hard work and was willing to sacrifice all his property and wealth for the sake of the country. Kenya will miss him but we will never forget him. #RIPMatiba https://t.co/sSR3jzWmxn pic.twitter.com/6yYZpWMLF9

Miguna was quick to retweeted the President’s sentiments but with a stinging rider on how he, like Matiba during President Daniel arap Moi’s regime, is being persecuted by the state.
For the first time, Mr. Despot @UKenyatta you are right: Matiba was among a few Kenyan elite who exploited their public positions to become billionaires. And yes, he was detained without trial, tortured and maimed by your TUTOR, MOI, the same way you have detained & tortured me. https://t.co/GhCs25qXeo

Kenyans weighed in on Miguna’s sentiments;
I do think you still have a great opportunity to build a great legacy which when future generations will look after, might be considered heroic. However, seem unable to or unwilling to build it with your own two hands. Give up the blame game!
