Miguna hits the ground running after jibe of campaigning on TV shows

With 17 days left to the general elections, Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna has finally hit the ground running.

This comes days after he was ridiculed for running a campaign that was basically confined to live appearances on national television stations.

State House Director of Digital Communication Dennis Itumbi had on Wednesday posted a map of Miguna’s campaign trail of appearances on national television stations.

Miguna on Thursday posted photos of himself engaging with people in Dandora, Umoja and in other estates in Eastlands.

A new opinion poll released on Thursday showed Miguna trailing way behind incumbent Dr Evans Kidero and Senator Mike Sonko.

Senator Sonko and Governor Kidero each garnered 44% support for the top seat, while independent candidates Peter Kenneth and Miguna Miguna garnered 4% and 1% support respectively from respondents.
