Flights transporting miraa from Kenya to Somalia will resume Wednesday.
The agreement was reached at a meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud in Mogadishu.
The flights were suspended last week after purported controversial remarks by Meru Governor Peter Munya.
Miraa prices in Kenya had reduced by half as a result of the ban by Somalia.
President Kenyatta, who is the first Kenyan Head of State to visit Mogadishu in 30 years also secured an agreement for Kenya Commercial Bank to open a branch in Mogadishu.
