Morgan Heritage to perform in Kenya in October
Kenyan reggae lovers are set for a treat in October when Jamaican band Morgan Heritage will perform at the Nyayo National Stadium .
The Morgan Heritage reggae band will perform at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday, October 3rd, as part of their world tour.
The visit was announced via Instagram by Gramps Morgan, a member of the Morgan Heritage crew.
He wrote: “Kenya it’s official October 3rd 2015 Nyayo National Stadium live in concert.” He also uploaded a photo of the Kenyan flag.
Many of their Kenyans followers went ahead to welcome them.
Chemu_chelsea posted “Karibu Kenya..mad love..waiting.”
Keshadmin said “Welcome to Kenya and Jah bless.”
Trueblaq wrote “glad to be hosting you LIVE in Kenya.”
Wanyoke_mkenya added “Ngai…karibu sana kenya we love you.”
The band was formed in 1994 by the five children of a reggae artist Denroy Morgan.
The Jamaican reggae group has previously performed in Kenya including in 2009 and 2014.
