Moses Kuria asks Uhuru to dissolve Cabinet

Moses Kuria has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to dissolve the Cabinet to ‘save the country’s economy.

And to advance his argument, the controversial legislature, in a lengthy post on Facebook took reference to a recent report that suggested Kenya’s economy is in deep trouble to advance his argument.

“Dear President Uhuru Kenyatta. The Bloomberg report has confirmed what we have been telling you. The economy is in deep trouble. 90% of your Cabinet starting with your CS for National Treasury are focussing on running for seats in 2022,” wrote Kuria.

He however fell short of explaining how the current cabinet, which consists of Cabinet and Principal Secretaries, had contributed to the slow economy as per the report.

But Kuria explained that most of the members of the cabinet will be gunning for positions in the 2022 general elections and thus will likely be distracted.

“Kindly dissolve your entire Cabinet and replace them with a Rescue Team from the Private Sector to help you through the 7-month transition,” he added.

President Kenyatta is serving in the final moments of his ten-year term.

His second five-year term has been characterized by public differences in opinion with his Deputy William Ruto amid reports that the move has left a divided Cabinet.
