Muhoro trolled for pleading with MPs to clear him to become ‘first’ police officer ambassador
By MWENDE KASUJJA
Former Directorate of Criminal Investigation boss Ndegwa Muhoro was on Thursday trolled by Kenyans for pleading with MPs vetting him to approve his nomination so that he becomes the first police officer to become an ambassador.
Muhoro, who was among five ambassadorial post nominees who appeared before the National Assembly Committee on Defense, also said that he stands a chance to become the second ambassador from his home county.
His pleas were shared online provoking Kenyans to troll him saying it should not matter whether he becomes the first police ambassador or the second who hails from Laikipia.
Ndegwa Muhoro: I want to appeal to this committee. If you clear me, and I am appointed, I will be the first police officer to be appointed as an ambassador. From my county of Laikipia, I will be the second to be appointed as an ambassador #SemaNaCitizen pic.twitter.com/Cy8FxWkKBP

A number of those who commented on Twitter urged the MPs to look at his credentials and past performance when he was in charge of the DCI.
During the vetting process, Muhoro said his leadership at DCI saw conclusive investigations done and culprits brought to book.
He also refuted claims that he failed, saying his critics had personal vendetta. Muhoro has been nominated to become Kenya’s ambassador to Malaysia.
Ooookay.

He wants to be appointed not for what he can do for this country but for him to be the 1st police officer to be appointed as an ambassador
