Murang’a resident interrupts Ndindi Nyoro’s event to entertain audience

An event in Kiria-Ini, Murang’a County graced by Kiharu MP Mr Ndindi Nyoro and his counterpart (Edwin Mugo) on June 29, 2023 was temporarily put to a standstill when a man sought audience to entertain participants.

The man who was seemingly drunk, did not fear the lawmakers and he courageously took to the stage.

Reportedly, he was moved by a song from one of Mt Kenya region artists which was put to play.

Clad in a white-maroon checked shirt, black faded trouser and sandals, he is seen through a video entertaining people as he recites the Kikuyu song by Karangu Muraya.

Mr. Muraya is a gospel artist, and who is also a philanthropist.

“I would not let Karangu Muraya’s song go like that. Wherever he is, I would appreciate a shirt, trouser and a pair of shoes from him,” said the guy.

After performing the song, the 2 minutes and 54 seconds video shows him proceeding to where the VIPs were seated.

“Can someone connect me to this gentleman…By the grace of God, I will make him smile,” Karangu Muraya pleaded through his official Facebook page, with the upload of the video.

Murang’a is one of the Mt Kenya regions adversely affected by illicit brew menace, with such kinds of dramas being the order of the day.

Some drunkards proceed to interrupt even burial and wedding ceremonies as they seek an audience acting on alcohol influence.

However, the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has vowed to bring to an end illicit brew and dangerous alcohol peril in his backyard.

April 2023, Mr Gachagua launched an operation against illicit brew and drugs in Mt Kenya.

The exercise has also been unveiled in the Rift Valley region, the second in command promising to make it a countrywide operation.

For the jovial Murang’a resident, it seems his star is looming to shine following Mr Karangu Muraya’s request to be connected to him.
