Museveni, Magufuli, Kagame congratulate Uhuru

East African Heads of State were among the first to congratulate President Uhuru Kenyatta following his re-election.

President Kenyatta was on Friday night crowned winner of the country’s General election, after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission announced he’d garnered 54 percent of the total votes cast.

Moments after, Uganda President Yoweri Museveni alongside Tanzania’s John Pombe Magufuli and Rwanda’s Paul Kagame sent their congratulatory messages which were also shared on Twitter.
