Mutula Junior lashes out at Nyenze and Twitter erupts
Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo has lashed out at Minority Leader Francis Nyenze’s declaration that the Kamba nation got a raw deal in Nasa’s line-up.
The senator said Nyenze needs to know that Kalonzo Musyoka is not a Kamba chief, seemingly portraying the Wiper Democratic Movement leader as a nationalist.
Hon Francis Nyenze is at it again! This time he is speaking on behalf of all Kambas. Someone tell nyenze, Kalonzo is not a Kamba chief !

Mutula’s reaction on Tweeter elicited mixed reactions as some stated that Nyenze was right as politics are tribal while others stated that his sentiments did not represent those of the entire Kamba community.
Nyenze had in a press conference stated that the Kamba community expected that Kalonzo would be the flag bearer of the opposition outfit as he threw his weight behind ODM leader Raila Odinga in 2013.

His sentiments and a hit back from Mutula elicited mixed reactions online.
@SenMutula Nyenze is enjoying freedom of expression, and representing wishes of many of us…

@SenMutula That is true, @skmusyoka is not a Kamba chief entirely. Nyenze is not representing my opinion

@SenMutula But he represented the Kamba in NASA negotiations. He is therefore a key person in Kamba community.

@SenMutula With all due respect Sir. I believe he is the Kamba leader and has used the ‘kamba’ vote as his bargaining chip.

@SenMutula @BelAkinyii. Right now, our focus is a United Kenya, not any tribal leader. Nyenze should know that
