Mwanaisha Chidzuga bags high-ranking government job after hiatus in media industry
Renowned media personality Mwanaisha Chidzuga has been appointed Deputy Government Spokesperson by President William Ruto in a recent cabinet reshuffle announced on October 4.
This move marks a significant transition in her career as she returns to the public eye after a nearly four-year absence.
The executive communication sent out by the President revealed the new appointments, including the Government Spokesperson, Mr Isaac Maigua Mwaura, and Deputy Government Spokesperson, Mr Gabriel Muthuma.
This trio will now be responsible for delivering crucial government messages to the public.
Her loyal fans highly anticipated Ms Chidzuga’s return to the limelight.

Her absence from the media scene began in October 2019 when she left her role at the Mediamax Limited-owned station, K24 TV.
During her hiatus, she embarked on new endeavors, including a role at TV47, where she was set to read news bulletins on Fridays and Saturdays as part of the program ‘TV47 Wikendi.’
Speaking about this role four months ago, she took to her Instagram account, where she expressed her gratitude for the opportunity.
