Mystery of Burundian woman found lifeless inside Mombasa lodging
A foreigner was found dead inside a guest house located in Mombasa on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
Police say that Ms Ndayizeye Nadine had, on the night of Monday, December 19, 2022, booked a room at a guest house known as Mika while she was in the company of a man identified as Mr Migiro Ogembo, who has since gone missing.

An attendant at the guest house was busy cleaning the rooms when she found the body and quickly alerted the management, informing the police.
Police officers and detectives attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) rushed to the scene where they found the body.
“A kitchen knife which was covered with blood stains, 500mililiters bottle of liquid suspected to be acid and clothes of the suspect and the deceased were also inside the room where the body of the deceased was,” a police report seen by Nairobi News read in part.

The report further revealed that the woman had been stabbed in the neck and the chest by the suspect, who, after committing the heinous act, jumped out of the room through the window and went into hiding.
Currently, police officers in Mombasa have launched a manhunt for the suspect even as the reason for his ending the lady’s life remains unknown.

In Umoja, Nairobi County, a man was found dead inside his house, even though the main cause of the death is yet to be established.

Mr Stephen Kyuma’s body was on the night of Tuesday, December 21, found by neighbours who alerted the police.
Police officers rushed to the scene and took the body to a morgue within the city.
“The body was found on the bed and had no visible injuries, the matter is currently under investigations,” a report seen by Nairobi News read in part.
