Kenyan songbird Nadia Mukami has revealed that she has shed 11kgs since the birth of her son, Kai.
In an Instagram post, the proud mother also shared her journey of overcoming body-shaming, due to the weight gain during pregnancy.
Acknowledging the struggles faced by many women after giving birth, Nadia emphasized the importance of setting her own pace in achieving her desired weight loss.
“Finally, I am losing my baby weight and starting to feel confident in myself!” she said.
Nadia also addressed the issue of societal pressure on women to quickly “bounce back” after childbirth, condemning netizens for their relentless scrutiny.

“Finally, I am at 59 kilograms from 70 kilograms, and those trolls who criticized me can now take a step back! Mscheeeeew 🙄 Oh, and by the way, get ready to spend your money elsewhere because slimming tea is no longer needed 😁😁” Nadia said.
The mother of one has also announced her upcoming brand new song, Mi Nawe from the Love & Vibes EP tomorrow.
In October 2022, Nadia opened up about her absence from social media, explaining that she felt uncomfortable in her own body due to the weight she had gained during her pregnancy.
The Kai Wangu artiste shared a video of herself working out and highlighted the challenges she faced in her losing weight journey.

Unlike many celebrities who have documented their weight loss journeys, Nadia emphasized her desire to achieve her goals through natural means.
