The violent students hurled stones at the building after failing to gain access to the media house.

The hundreds of students chanted ‘haki yetu‘ while carrying twigs and waiving a banner of the institution established 16 years ago.

The institution was featured in the investigative series as one of the institutions where unqualified students obtain certificates of higher learning.

The expose, done with the help of undercover journalists who posed as students, revealed that at a cost of just Ksh3,000, a student could obtain a diploma certificate, an academic transcript and a leaving certificate from the institution.

The series showed video evidence of a student obtaining a real certificate from one of the college’s lecturer at a fee.

In another case, an undercover journalist posed as a standard six leaver and obtained admission at the institution to pursue a diploma course.

The institution is known for aviation courses that require competence as some of them deal with safety in air transport.
