Nairobi bishop denies claims of soliciting for nudes and sacrificing women
A Nairobi bishop has accused his estranged wife of using social media to malign his name, accusing him of soliciting for nudes and sacrificing women.
Bishop George Kamunya of Oasis of Grace became a trending topic on a deadbeat dads group on Telegram as the administrator posted a statement discrediting him.
The screenshots of the allegation quickly went viral on Facebook prompting Nairobi News to seek a clarification from Bishop Kamunya.
“I have seen the post on Kilimani and all that I can say is that I know this is the work of my ex-wife whom we are a divorce and custody case in court among other matters,” Bishop Kamunya told Nairobi News.
MALICIOUS CLAIMS
The Bishop has been very vocal in the media especially on relationship and marriage matters often appearing on K24 TV.
The Oasis of Grace founder lamented how the malicious claims have affected his family and ministry.
He accused his ex-wife of using her friends to make the false allegations trend online, a matter that he says will be heard in court.
In the ongoing divorce suit, the bishop’s wife Esther, has accused the man of cloth of cruelty and denying her conjugal rights which resulted in her sinking into “very serious depression, especially when she was in the family way.”
In her petition she alleged that the bishop “during the subsistence of their marriage, has been engaging in extra marital abnormalities, in total disregard to the marriage commitment he made to the petitioner.”
