Nairobi hotels offer exciting Easter treat


Easter is a perfect time for loved ones to bond and wind down.

And a number of hotels in Nairobi have gone out of their way to offer packages to residents who are not so keen to leave town.

Here are some of the offers on the table.

1. Radisson Blu – The hotel offers a blend of fine dining and luxurious staycation within its serene ambiance designed to give families a worthwhile holiday.

“We have an elaborate Sunday brunch for Shs. 6000 plus a separate special offers for those wishing to reside with us,” said Randy Ngala, Marketing Manager.

“We also have activities lined up for kids including face painting making a comeback because they were banned during the pandemic. The bouncing castle and swimming pools are also open.”

2. Hemingways – The hotel offers a special brunch while displaying elegance and sophistication, plus a dining experience suited to one’s satisfaction this season.

“We are promoting staycations and Special Easter Brunch which has more offers than the usual Sunday brunch as we have special dishes like crocodile and tandoori /Indian dishes stations plus a special welcome drink. For kids we have the chocolate, sweet corner,” explained Richard Kimenyi, the hotel’s general manager.

3. Sarova Panafric – The hotel has gone all out to bring their guests an Easter experience of a lifetime.

“On Good Friday we have a special four-course meal that has been curated by our senior cluster executive chef with some Easter delights and we will be offering that on Friday at out flame tree restaurant and it is priced at 4000 shillings, accompanied by a glass of welcome bubbly on arrival. Then we will be having Samawati band playing music for the guests in attendance.” the management explained.

“We’ll also have kids special with a variety of items like fish fingers, spaghetti with meatballs, french fries and so much more. We also do a very elaborate and ridiculous pastry display with a lot of sweets and treats for everyone,” he added.

“We’ve partnered with Jack Daniels for the brunch, and guests who pay for the brunch get unlimited cocktails, mocktails, and soft drinks. Brunch goes for 6000 shillings per person, adult and kids 3000 shillings per kid,”

4.Fairmont Norfolk – We haven’t planned anything special because we just reopened recently, instead we have created a package for a staycation,” said Mehdi Morad, General Manager.

“Easter is normally one of the seasons people and families travel a lot, especially upcountry. As it happens now, considering the shortage of fuel many people won’t be able to travel by car and that’s why we opted for the staycation,” he added.

“We are not expecting a very big number, but election season is a very busy time for a hotel like Norfolk,”

5. Safari Park Hotel – The hotel offers more than just dining and luxury. It brings an experience. With the ultimate package offer that is designed especially for Easter, the hotel aims to bring its guests an Easter never to forget.

“This Easter season we have family fun activities lined up over the Easter weekend, we have extended special offers to residential guests as well as diners and revelers. The package comes with the ultimate value addition to ensure our guests enjoy this upcoming Easter holiday,” said Mercy Muhindi, Public Relations.
