Nameless resurfaces, talks about upcoming album
Singer David Mathenge, aka Nameless, has revealed he is done and dusted with his upcoming album titled ‘Before IR’.
The title, he says, stands for Before I Retire.
The album will contain 20 songs in signature Nameless style, combining dedications and collaborations.
“This album will depict a different side of me that people haven’t seen before,” explained Nameless, as he prepared to shoot the video for the song ‘African Beauty’ at the rooftop pool at the Best Western Premier Hotel along Argwings Kodhek road.
The rooftop pool overlooks Nairobi’s skyline and offered a luxurious setting for the elaborate video.
NairobiNews got an exclusive insight into the happenings at the shoot on Tuesday evening.
The shoot lasted 6 hours, starting off at 4 pm and carrying well after 10pm.
The cast, crew, dancers, makeup artistes, top models and singer Nameless went through the motions of the shoot without any hitches.
The video and audio of “African Beauty” will be released on January 15th.
When asked about his message to fans after his long absence he says: “Living life to the fullest, loving what I do and doing what I love. That’s what I’m all about”
