Narrow escape in accident inspires artistes’ new song
Musician Ian Gituku aka Pace Kenya known for his hit Songa will be hitting the airwaves with a song on road safety after he escaped with minor injuries in a grisly road accident.
Pace, who is currently working on a collabo with Jimw@t, was on his way to Ogopa Studios to plan his next project when his car rolled on Mombasa road.
The incident left the singer with an injured right leg and eye and he was admitted at Nairobi Hospital.
“I realized that these roads can easily end one’s life as my car has been completely written off after the accident,” he told Nairobi News.
Pace hopes to work on a road safety campaign through music and hopefully merge efforts with Jimw@t who was once involved in a road accident too.
In 2013, Jimw@t was involved in a road accident along Thika road that led to him undergoing surgery.
The rapper has been working on several singles for his upcoming album “Twende Safari” with the latest hit being Napata produced by Tedd Josiah.
