The Tunisian club’s 50-man contingent arrived in the country aboard a chartered flight.

Coach Krol told journalists he had watched a few videos of Gor Mahia ahead of their tie.

“I know very little about our opponents, but based on the videos I have seen they are a good team and the coach has made some good signings,” Krol said.

The former Dutch captain said he expects a tough match, but was confident of getting a good result.

The team, was received by Gor Mahia officials led by Vice Chairman John Pesa and Organising Secretary David Kiilo.

The two teams lock horns at Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday at 3pm.

Esperance have rejected an offer by their hosts to reside at the plush Laico Hotel located within Nairobi’s CBD.

Instead, the two-time African champions  have opted for the equally plum Intercontinental Hotel.

Gor Mahia defeated Esperance  in the 1987 CAF Confederations finale to lift the title.

Tickets for the Saturday’s game will retail at Sh1,000 VIP and Sh200 for terraces.
