Kiss FM radio presenter Kamene Goro has come out to rubbish the rumours that have been making rounds on the internet that she and her lover DJ Bonez have officially tied the knot.

Kamene, however, has set the record straight and come clean with her social media fans saying she has not yet wed DJ Bonez.

Sharing through her Instagram stories during a question and answer session, the radio queen said that she has been wondering why people are congratulating her on a supposed wedding yet she hasn’t yet had one.

“No wedding yet. I really wondered with these stories,” read Kamene’s response.

The celebrated radio presenter has recently returned from her short break in Diani, which she spent quite lavishly with her disc jockey fiancee.

It was through the photos and videos the couple generously shared on social media that their fans drew speculations that they may have held a private wedding.

In a series of videos she shared on her Insta stories, Kamene flashed her two huge gold rings, among them her engagement ring. She also shared a cryptic statement that further fueled wedding rumours.

“Something happened last night…” Kamene captioned one of the videos while showing off her ring.

Bonez also shared a video, unwrapping a present gifted by a fan, flaunting his ring. Kamene also shared a hotel bed full of red roses and a heart shape in the middle.

Fans and friends of the lovebirds flooded their social handles with congratulatory messages, but it was still not clear whether they tied the knot or were just attending a friend’s wedding.

In the heat of their wedding rumours, DJ Bonez was also forced to respond to a fan who had claimed that he and Kamene would eventually split (mta achana tuu!).

He responded by saying that they will never leave each other and called out haters predicting the end of their relationship.

Callmedjspicy had written, “Sisi kama wakuu wa ile kamati tunajua wataaa…you know better,” adding a laughing emoji.

DJ Bonez responded saying, “Wacha roho chafu pambanana tuu na hali yako ya maisha mjomba. (Stop being evil hearted, focus on your life).”

He, however, remained mum about what exactly transpired during their vacation in Diani.

Kamene Goro was previously married to a man whom she exposed for dumping her over the phone after she sacrificed an arm and a leg to be his wife.

Married at the young age of 23, Kamene, during an interview with MC Jessy in 2020 disclosed that she quit her job at Ebru TV back in 2014 and moved to Tanzania to get married to the man of her dreams.

Kamene revealed that she tendered a two-day notice in her resignation letter in readiness to start married life in Tanzania.

The media personality further stated that her then-husband dumped her over the phone at the time she was visiting her family in Nairobi.

DJ Bonez also has an ex-wife and two kids.
