NRM ‘General’ Miguna Miguna plans April comeback

National Resistance Movement (NRM) self-declared general Miguna Miguna has announced plans to return to Kenya in April.

The fiery lawyer took to Twitter, his favourite platform, to announce his return from Canada where he was deported in dramatic fashion last March.

He, however, stopped short of mentioning his return date.

Miguna was twice deported from Kenya in 2018, moments after falling out with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration for administering opposition leader Raila Odinga’s mock swearing-in as the ‘People’s President’.

At the time, Interior CS Fred Mataiang’i argued Miguna had surrendered his Kenyan citizenship and needed to apply for it afresh.

He has since settled in Canada, won a court case against his deportation and got awarded Sh7 million.

He has also released a book titled ‘Treason‘ and upped his criticism against both the government of the day and Mr Odinga especially on social media.

The government announced it will challenge the High Court’s decision
