Nuttal dumps Gor Mahia, joins big money Zamalek
Gor Mahia coach Frank Nuttal has quit the club and joined North African giants Zamalek.
Reliable reports indicate the Scottish trainer has travelled to Cairo and and has agreed to join Zamalek.
The Egyptian club has also confirmed the acquisition of the coach.
However, Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier says the club is yet to officially release the coach from his contract.
Speaking to Nairobi News, Mr Rachier says the club expects the coach to report to training on Tuesday morning.
Coach Nuttal has endured mixed fortunes at the helm of Kenya’s most popular and successful team.
He steered the side to win the league title without losing a match last term.
However, he has fallen out with Mr Rachier and a number of senior players including Boniface Oluoch and Karim Niziyigimana in the new season.
