Newsman Dennis Okari back to NTV
Award-winning TV journalist Dennis Okari has returned to our local screens. The investigative journalist returns to NTV after nearly a year with BBC, east African bureau.
He took to his Facebook account to announce his return to his fans.
“Great to be back at NTV. I had missed this family. It can’t be any sweeter than a red velvet cake and a script in hand,” Okari captioned an album with pictures of himself at NTV cutting a welcome cake.
Okari joins another senior journalist at NTV Larry Madowo, who made a return to the company following a stint at CNBC Africa.
He boasts vast experience in journalism spanning almost a decade, having previously worked at Baraka FM, Metro FM, in Mombasa, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), Kenya Television Network (KTN), Radio Africa Group’s Kiss TV and NTV.
During this time he has mesmerized audiences with investigative pieces such as Seeds of Sin, Presidential Insecurity and A Terrorists’ Playground.
The journalist is in a relationship with KTN’s Friday Briefing anchor Betty Kyalo with whom they have a daughter.
